So i have an HP desktop PC,mid 2013,2014,so i have sen that there is no external Graphic Card, only the internal one,the internal one is a Intel HD 4600 series,i was running all games well on medium, games like skyrim etc, than i decided to upgrade the graphic card and u did,my new graphic card is a ATI RAEDON HD 4560,wich is way more powerful,so i installed the latest drivers,Catalyst center and indeed the new graphic card runs games better, but it really lags, the games stcuks every 5 seconds ,i am really pissed off,if somebody could help me it would we reallyyy great.. :((((
PC Specs:
Intel i5 QuadCore CPU 3.0GHZ
4GB RAM
Previous GraphicCard - Intel HD 4600
New GraphicCard ATI Raedon HD 4560

Solution
The solution is to remove that card the 4560 because its not even on par with the 4600 of the intel chip return it and get a better card like mention.

Thats a terrible older card and a lot of games aren't even developed with it in mind anymore. For a lot of situations the intel graphics are actually better. If you want something that noticeably improves on intel graphics get an R7 260X or nvidia 740.

Otherwise there isn't much to be gained.

PS
What is your budget?

Yeah unfortunately you can't make it more powerful.
Usually people here will try to help you, but right now we need to be blunt and say your best bet is to remove that graphics card as it is actually making your performance worse.

Since I am a noob in this camp I think you are right, but i saw the specs for the Raedon and i saw its better than the intel. So I dont know..

Ok,thank you guys!! :) anyway see my specs and please tell me wich graphic card would be the best to buy?

Yes unfortunately they are right op. Kind of surprising actually that the intel graphics did that well really. If you want a better card, your best bet on your system may be the GTX 750ti. Not sure what the power ratings on your power supply look like, but that would be the best card you cna get without needing an extra power connector these days I think. Then your system would actually be able to crank up some games.

The Radeon 4560 unfortunately is now about 5 generations old, and they should be releasing another generation soon. As someone else said, the 4560 is so old most companies aren't developing anything with it in mind.

Some of those sites are dodgy as and declare the wrong card a winner. Can you find the link to send us?

The intel 4600 is quite good for integrated graphics and can use the DDR3 RAM in your computer to help it play games.
Most cards older than four years will be worse than it.

And one more question,if I upgrade the RAM to 8GB or 16 and the graphic card, can I run games Like Battlefield 4 on High?

What is your budget?

Also do you want to be able to play all the modern games like Assassin's Creed: Unity or are you happy to skip some of the games that require a lot of power?

The Nvidia GTX 760 or the Radeon R9 270X are currently the cheapest cards that will play nearly all games.
However the GTX 960 and Radeon R9 380X are about to come out and they will become the cheapest cards that can play all games at smooth frame rates.

No. Those integrated graphics cards can only use up to around 2GB effectively from my own tests, and even then they don't have anywhere near the power of a card like the R9 270X. The Nvidia 760 or GTX 960 will probably be the best for your budget.

EDIT: The R9 250X and GT 740 are the cheapest that will give you a noticeable boost in performance.
DOUBLE EDIT: Thought you had 8GB of RAM already. Adding another 4GB of RAM will help.

For a graphic card im trying to spend max 350-400 $ so idk

If you only add 4 gig more of ram that will give you 8 total and that's all I use to play games and I never have issues running a r 290 also a gtx 660 and a radeon 7950... Like the guy said the 750 ti would be fine for your system since we don't know what your power supply is rated at.. Btw this is 3 different systems...

Brilliant. You can afford 4GB of RAM and a GTX 960.

Sorry I thought you had 8GB of RAM already. Just adding another 4GB of RAM to your computer will improve your games as some games are RAM hungry.

The GTX 960 should still fit in within your system unless you have a power supply of less than 380w.

350-400, that would get you a nice card. I would plan on upgrading your power supply as well. But pick yourself up a gtx 760 and a power supply, or a radeon r9 280.

Here's the R9 280, should be a bit faster than the GTX 760.

For a power supply, here's what I'm running. Good on a budget and should handle about any single card you want. I'm running a radeon 7950 on mine, which is basically an older version of the R9 280.

That total would put you around 260 and would obliterate the card you have now and the intel graphics too.

Ok,I will upgrade my RAM in a few days to 8 gb cause i already think about that, and i will try to find a GTX 960,and anyway now when i remove the Raedon 4560 and plug in the hdmi to the Intel HD 4600,will i have issues entering windows?

Yea 4gbs of ram SUCKS. You definitely need to update to 8 or 16 either one you go to would make your computer faster. Plus if you want a 350 or 400 dollar graphics card don't buy a AMD or a older Nvidia. You can buy a MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G Graphics card - 4 GB - GDDR5 SDRAM graphics card for 344$ THAT the most powerful 970. THATS the best card you can buy for that money. You can run games with amazing fps and if you update your ram you wont have to worry about your pc lagging on games any more. So get that graphics card but check the wattage on your power supply. If it is not enough power supplies aren't that expensive and investing in one would be good in case you wanna upgrade later.

As long as you return it to the way it was before you put in the Radeon 4560 it will run fine.

You don't need more than 8GB of RAM to run any game.

By the way get some one to help you with buying the right RAM too. Make sure its at least the same speed and voltage as your old RAM.

By the way Spartan3Crusher, check out some of the specs and new technologies in the R9 380X.
It will beat the GTX 970 in games and also be cheaper. Its just going to use a lot more electricity haha.
Which is not something I would recommend for our friend srdaro!

If you do go nvidia I'd look at the upcoming 960. I agree the GTX 970 is a beast of a card. But if the op is going to have to upgrade power supply and ram as well, then a cheaper card will be in order. I'd see what benchmarks of the GTX 960 look like, or go for the R9 280 or 280x. Which would get all 3 upgrades, fit the budget of 350-400, and be way better than the cards the op is running now.

If thats correct that would be great, cause i already spent a total of 550$ in this PC,so if i upgrade it would be a total of 950$ and that is a lot of money for me,in terms of medium gaming
