Question All-in-one Front Panel connectors don't fit on motherboard ?

Mobo: Asus P8Z77-V LE Plus
Case: Montech XR

Now I was having a blast building in this case, until I found out the motherboard front panel headers are all over the place and seem to be completely incompatible with the cases all in one F_PANEL connector.

What do I do now? Do I need a new case? The motherboard was preowned, so I dont have anything that came with the mobo except for the mobo itself.

I did some googling, and it seems nobody has had this issue. The search results were coming up with people who had just mixed up the orientation and simply plugged it in. But I don't have this issue. The MOBO is really just different, and there is no orientation that would successfully fit with the connector.

Also, can I just until I get this sorted, NOT plug the front panel pin in? and instead jump the power switch pins?

Here are some pics of this monstrosity.

Please help; this is really frustrating. Thank you!

Yes you can! You could also depin and repin the front panel connecting harness to conform to your motherboard's pin out but I'd avoid that for now.

The issue is that you're trying to work with a decade old motherboard while the standards for front panel connections have made advancements, which is why the cases' front panel connection(apart from front panel audio) doesn't conform to your motherboard.
