Hi there

These days I encounterd some issues with my game on my laptop, all my games are just take too long to launch. Here I mean launch means it was working perfectly in-game.
E.g. Rainbow 6 Siege it tooks almost 1 minute to get me in-game, same as my other game (Battlefield 1/4 etc.), while in-game, I pressed Start+D the game will just freeze and I could still hear the sound then around 30 sec it will just go back to Desktop, same thing happening when I was trying to close a game.
It was working perfectly and I have no idea what is happening with my game/laptop, is there anything to do with Hyperthreading?

Spec:
Win 10
i7-6700HQ
16GB RAM
GTX 960M
My games are stored in my HDD

Many thanks

You tried a defrag? How? It usually takes several hours especially if you have never done one before.
Slow load usually have to do with the hard drive. Like said above a defrag might help, especially if you shutdown your laptop every night and have never done one manually. I believe by default windows will automatically defragment if your computer is on around 1 in the morning on a Wednesday.

I tried defrag and the game launched with even a black screen, it still tooks about 1 min for me to play the actual game.

If your HDD is very fragmented (due to repeated deleting and storing files in a hard drive), using disk defragmenter might help, though I doubt this will improve your loading times by any significant degree. In my experience, I haven't really seen any tangible improvements after defragmenting my HDD. Though it's possible that my HDDs just aren't fragmented enough for it to be noticeable.

If you are serious with improving your loading times, and you are willing to spend some money, investing in an SSD is a good option. Not only will it improve game loading times, but it'll also make your computer generally much snappier, and make your boot times crazy fast (compared with an HDD) if you use it as your boot drive. If you plan on using it as a boot drive, remember that you'll need to install a copy of windows on it.

That aside, if you are considering upgrading to an SSD, you should first check if an SSD is compatible with your laptop. Most laptops use 2.5" HDD, which are the same size as normal SSD. If your laptop is new, it's even possible that it has "m.2 slots" which are slots for "m.2 SSDs" which are generally the fastest drives you can get right now (Aside from PCIE NVME drives), since the drive is no longer bottle-necked by SATAIII. M.2 SSD's are like connecting your SSD into a graphics card slot, which allows for faster data transfers.

In short, if you are willing to spend some money, a normal SATAIII SSD will give you tangible performance improvements (in-game loading, generally faster PC), if your laptop supports it, an M.2 SSD will be faster than a normal SATAIII SSD.

M8 it just tooks 30 sec and its done, i will get to ubisoft support soon.

Here the point is, it was taking 5 sec to let me actual play the game, I do have a SSD do you reckon it would helped a lot?

I bet ubisoft support will be next to useless, this is more than likely a problem with your pc not their game as you have the same long load times in other games. And its impossible that defragment took 30 seconds, I would try again because there is no way it did anything useful in 30 seconds.

Here the point is, I have just moved my game to SSD and it still have the same time to let me play.

Thanks for the info, it is actually a third party (Geforce Exp) causing problem, I unistall it and fix the game.
