All of my headphone/ microphone jacks have stopped working.

So I have 2 headphone and 2 microphone jacks, one set on the front panel and one on the back of my PC. Up until now, they have all worked just fine. A few minutes ago, I shut down the pc, and unplugged everything in order to move it. If it matters, i also switched to a new HDMI cord for one of my monitors during this move. Now, I am faced with a strange problem. When i plug in a pair of headphones, the pc recognizes that I plugged something in to the jack, and the same for when I unplug it. However, the sound continues to play from my speakers. So I checked the list of playback devices, and it isn't there. According to this list, nothing is plugged in to the jack. I have tested this with multiple pairs of headphones, so I know it is a problem with my PC. Help? I am on Windows 10 and yes, I checked to make sure that all the drivers are up to date.

Hmm, I just saw a similar thread with Windows 10.... I am now wondering if it is a Windows issue.
