Hello everyone.

I have been trying to port forward for a week now. I've done everything right I even made a static IP for port forwarding, turned off firewall, tried the DMZ and I called my ISP but with no help at all.

I'm trying to host a minecraft server, about 2 weeks ago I could host one by typing my PUBLIC IP on my browser and port forwarding that Public IP which was weird but now I can't open my router page using the public ip and had to use my default gateway, I've done everything right but my ports still won't work.

Thanks in advance.

I don't want to buy a static ip from my ISP so I made a Static Ip of my own. I don't get this Static IP thing, the only ip that changes is my public IP. but my local Ip doesn't really change.

You don't need a static public IP address. You could try changing your minecraft ports to something other than the defaults. You'd have to change that in both your minecraft config and your router's port forwarding.

One way to test port forwarding is you can try connecting to your minecraft servers by attempting to connect to your public IP address. It should forward your connection back to your machine the same as if you were attempting to connect from the Internet.

Nope, I've tried everything I even installed no-ip and all that DNS stuff/ Everytime I test the ports in the port scanner websites they ALL fail even ports 80 or any ports really ,they all time out!

Yea but the problem is that ALL PORTS Time out when I check them. Everytime I port forward something on my router I always check on whatsmyip.org my ports and they all time out.
