All the BIOS Password threads?

I'm just curious - is this a legitimately common issue, or is it just a bunch of thieving subhumans trying to trick us into assisting them?

What's the likely scenario here?

Criminal or not, some may be legitimate.
Also its against Tommy's rules to help bypass passwords, so they can use other forums if they wish to know how to do it.

It's impossible to say how few or how many of these threads are generated by ill-gotten gains. Other scenarios could include:

1) Legitimately forgotten passwords.
2) Passwords put in place by other family members (parents restricting kids).
3) Pawn shop purchases.

And that's just what I can think of off the top of my head.
