Already have 2 sticks, adding 1 more will be problem?

Solution
It's not recommended to mix RAM, even if they are the same general model. There's no guarantee any mixed RAM will work together, and even EXACT same modules from a different pack might not play well.

If you already have the additional module you could try it, but if you are thinking of buying more the best solution would be to save up for a proper pack of 2 4GB RAM modules that have been tested at the factory to run well together.

Ok thanks, I was planning to purchase a video card and the ram was a freebie that comes with it so I was curious if I can use it. But now the ram is out of stock so no biggie. Thanks for the quick replies.
