Alternative to P8P67 Pro

Hey,

I am returning a P8P67 Pro because i couldnt get it to work. It has rampant problems that people are posting all over the internet about and ASUS hasnt even acknolwedged the issue, so that makes me think a proper fix isnt in the works anytime soon.

So, my aim with my motherboard is to be able to overclock my 2600k Sandy Bridge processor, and the P8P67 board was made to do that, but i cant deal with the problems i need an alternative

Overclocking abilities

Support for 4gb sticks of RAM

SLi compatible

ATX

As soon as you get the P8P67 Pro, you have to update the BIOS immediately...

Cant update the bios if i cant get into bios in the first place

Asrock is the "budget" subsidiary of AsusTek ..... if ya don't like the Asus, and it would seem it's most reviewers choice, I don't think ya gonna be happy with the AsRock.

Looking at newegg feedback, the reviews seem to go 5 eggs, 5 eggs, 5 eggs, 5 eggs, 1 egg ... indicating perhaps there's some manufacturing issues to be dealt with. However, let's pay attention here..... that's one reason why I personally don't build w/ "Revision A" hardware. They don't call it the bleeding edge for no reason.

Perhaps ya might wanna look at the Sabertooth which is built to mil specs and has a 5 year warranty. No 1 egg reviews for that board....88% 5 eggs / 12 % 4 eggs
