Hi,

I recently upgraded my computer, but of course unfortunately as a result lost my genuine version of Windows 7 to the old OEM motherboard. I did get in contact with Microsoft Windows support and tried to get them to renew my old product key from the old motherboard and transfer it to the new one, but yada-yada-yada they didn't let me--the assistant I worked with was not very helpful either.

I am now in search of a retail version of Windows 10 that I can buy and download, so that in the future I don't have to re-purchase Windows every time I upgrade my processor or motherboard.
So, i was searching for a legitimate Windows 10 retail version, and I found something on Newegg, though I am not sure if it is a retail version or not:

Thanks for the help,
I always appreciate the aid of everyone on this site.

$199? That's freaking outrageous.

Yeah, although that is the Pro version. I just realized I linked the wrong version of Windows 10 I am buying (whoops). I'll be buying Windows 10 Home.
