Hi guys. I'm using a Corsair Vengence Pro RGB DDR4 16GB Dual (so two sticks) 3600mhz. My motherboard is MSI Tomahawk Max and CPU is Ryzen 3600.

I'm new to overclocking and I've tried to overclock my RAM today and want to clarify if i'm doing it right or not.

I've already enabled my A-XMP and default the Dram frequency to 3600mhz also put the voltage to auto

but whenever I use CPU-Z this is what is shows me.

Am I doing it wrong? It only shows 1799.6mhz or have I successfully done it? Does it works like this: 1799.6*2 = 3600mhz?

Solution
The ram is double pumped which means there is a transfer at the rising edge of the clock signal and the falling edge so you need to multiply the frequency shown by 2..
IE - you're good to go. 1800x2=3600
