I play a game of csgo last night and I met these people that have me added on discord. We won the match and they got really pissed off so they decided to call me on discord but it did not accept. After that, they sent me this smitebot.pw thing and I did not click it. However, the following morning when I tried to play comp, my ping spikes up and down like crazy. I usually get consistent 20-40 ping. However, I'm spiking up to 130-340 for no reason. I don't know if it is an attack or is they sending packets to me or whatever, but I don't know what to do and I restarted my router 2-3 times but still no fix. Please help.

You are on the smitebot ip list. Smitebot is a company which not only sells hacks for cs go, but also...

Uninstall and reinstall the game.

You are on the smitebot ip list. Smitebot is a company which not only sells hacks for cs go, but also owns a massive list of IP addresses of cs players. This ip list is used to DDOS players by those who pay smite for a subscription. They got your IP through your discord.

I have a solution for you, however: contact your internet service provider over the phone and verbally request a new ip address. Change your compromised discord by deleting it and making a new one BEFORE you get your new IP.

CONGRATULATIONS. You are now no longer on the smite list.

Yes, these are real things in 2017. Its sad that this is the case, but it is what it is.
