Am I going to get any consistency difference between the G. skill ripjaws series X vs. the G. skill Sniper?

I was kind of set on the G. skill ripjaws series X 8gb (2x4gb) considering they are popular and reliable, especially when wanting to overclock or reduce timings.

Am I going to notice any difference in quality if I were to switch to the G. skill sniper 8gb (2x4gb)?

The only reason I ask is because, the SNIPER set is the only available RAM on Amazon that is sold by Amazon and therefore qualifies for Amazon Prime. They have G. skill ripjaws series X but only at 2133Mhz with CAS 11, and I would rather stick with 1600Mhz at CAS 9 timings.

You'll be fine, I have favored the Snipers over the Ripjaws X for a couple years now, the only sticks I relly prefer over the Snipers for most anything are their new Trident X line of sticks which target the highest performance - in the 2133 sticks - look for the CL9 sets, great sticks 😉
