Question Am i under warranty if my mouse left click lost it's sound?

My asus mouse has almost completely lost the clicking sound on the left click. The product guarantees over 50 million clicks and asus warranty does not cover wear and tear so im wondering if im under warranty because the clicking is supposed to be a feature? The warranty is 2 years and i've had it for 8 months.
