Hi,
I'd like to build a AM1-based PC, with a 5350 and a Asus AM1I-A, which supports AMP, so, i guess, i can select the preset memory profile shown in the bios.
Both the apu and the motherboard support up to 1600 mhz ram. If i get higher speed ram (let's say 2133 mhz, which is about the same price) will I benefit from the speed increase once I select the memory profile in the bios? Or will I stil be limited to 1600mhz? I'm aware the am1 chipset supports single channel configurations only.
thank you all
