am3 retention clip

cant seem to find one, can someone link me to one

Old AM3 motherboards are so cheap that it just doesn't pay off to either manufacture or sell motherboard parts.

what do you mean by the retention clip?

lots of brackets with backplates, if it isn't that, then what are you talking about specifically? Do you mean the OEM heatsink lever mechanism? Such as the one shown here? http://www.amazon.com/AMD-Socket-Connector-Athlon-2-9GHz/dp/B0044FJGFM

No problem. I don't know if they sell just the clip thing or not. I think you have to buy the entire heatsink. They are cheap though.

The Alpine 64 Pro Rev. 2 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002CIDIPW) seems like it would be a decent replacement cooler if you have to go that route.
