So i just uppgraded my pc with a Asus Rog matrix 290x and everything is working great except when im not playing games.
Becuase if i don't play games my pc:s screen will go black after some time (not the amd displaydriver bug) the only way to fix it is by restarting the pc.
Also if i don't play a game my screen will have white lines going trough it almost like tearing.
However if i unistall the amd drivers this problem is gone but i get 3fps in every game.
My specs are i5-4670k @ 3.40Ghz, Evga supernova 850w Psu, 8gig no overclockt ram and a asus z97-a.
Any idea how to fix this?

Solution
Try this. Install ddu and select amd. Then select clean and shutdown (for new graphics card). Take the gpu out of the pci slot and make sure it's clean. Place it back in and boot the pc. Go to amd's website and make sure you download a fresh set of the latest drivers available. Then install. Should be working now.
That's because it's a gaming GPU, it only plays games............just kidding 😉 sorry.........Check that you have the latest mobo drivers and may want to try an older version of the GPU driver, or a beta if available, the version you have may have a conflict with your hardware
