mobo: ASUS A8N5X Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 ATX

cpu: AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Venice 1GHz FSB 512KB L2 Cache Socket 939

Videocard: ATI Radeon X1800XL 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 VIVO PCI Express x16

memory: CORSAIR XMS 1G(2 x 512M) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400(PC 3200)Dual Channel Kit

hardrive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 250GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s

lcd: Sony 17" Flat-Panel LCD Monitor

my buget is about $1200, i am not good at computer

can you guys give me some advice, appreciated

Btw, how to do the OC stuff on this settings?
Thank you.

Nice choices. I'll say you can OC pretty well. You might also look at a 7800GT, which is probably better than a X1800XL.
This subject is debatable.
Have you heard of X3: The Reunion.
Great game,best graphics ever(IMO and very gfx card hungry) and it works better on a X1800XL.(see Anand Tech)
@shelling
If your mobo supports RAID then you can have 2 HDs working together and faster than 1 HD.
You can get 2 cheap ones(120 GB) and they'll be faster than your current drive.
As for the rig,it is decent, good at gaming and it should last for 1 year at least. You might save up for a better CPU though. An AMD 64 3700 would be better and the price difference is 100 $ at most[/quote] .
