Hi,

I'm looking into a new build and i noticed the Ryzen5 7600 reports the max memory speed at DDR5-5200 but yet when i checked their tested ram kits they are 5600mhz. Why is there a disparity and would the 5600 tested ram kits still work well with a 5200 cpu?

What motherboard are you looking at? B650 chipset?

I'd advise going with a purchase for your memory using their QVL, if you want them to work out of the box. In theory, practically all motherboards should work with pretty much any and/or all ram kits on the market/shelf but in reality, there are gremlins found with any new platform. You're advised to make sure you've got the latest BIOS version on your motherboard after you're able to get POST and then enable your overclocking profile(EXPO/X.M.P) after updating the BIOS.
