Does anyone know when the 7000 series will come out?

Also, could you please link the source.

Reason I ask is because I will probably purchase a 6850 on Monday and would rather wait for a 7000 series card or at least see a price drop, if they're coming out in a month or two.

And would the new technology bring the price down or will we see a price increase?

Also I heard that 7900 series might not use xdr2.Instead they are going to use 384bit GDDR5.

7850 will most likely be priced at $200 right?

Yeah hope so ,but will mostly depend on how they perform w.r.t nv gpus. And the bad news is nV Kepler GPUs aren't expected to arrive until H2.

Problem for me is the budget, I wont be able to spend more than $150 for a card, and seeing the 7850 specs, it will definitely not cost $150

As for Nvidia, definitely not interested. I'm a budget gamer, and AMD has a good bang for your buck.

Yeah ,I think 7850 will perform somewhere close to 6950, so it should be priced somewhere around $200.

I just found a 6870 for only $15 more, so I think I'm going to just get that.
