Hello everyone. It's been my 2.5 weeks I am trying to run games on dedicated v ram of r7 m260 which is 2gb.
Here are my details:
HP pavilion p010ax
AMD 5745m 2.10 GHz
HD 8610g + R7 m260
8gb ram
Latest bios F.45

But the strange thing is that when I launched any game it utilizes r7 clock speed and memory clock upto full capacity but not the vram, games uses 768mb of 8610g vram.Kindly suggest me what should i do now !.I previously tried almost every thing possible for every driver that is available on the internet, tweaking different settings in amd CCC.
GPU Z says crossFire disabled but available ????? but there is no option in CCC.

Help me Please!!!

Don't know how much vram the games you play use normally so can't say if the amount used is wrong or right.

Do you use the latest drivers for the gpu from HP? Keep it at that, they might have tweaked these abit.
Can check the bios for a setting that will enable crossfire, might still need to enable it afterwards in the CCC.

Thanks man for the reply! I really appreciate it.
my issue is the same as of this guy https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Video-Display-and-Touch/amd-dual-graphics/td-p/5013262/page/2
but it seems he hasn't found any solution unfortunately.
As I mentioned, I tried almost all drivers available on the internet including that on HP and amd website + some older versions.Currently I am using 15.7.1 legacy driver for 8610g.
There is no option available in BIOS settings ,no crossfire option no fixed/dynamic switchable graphics option.
I am trying to play GTA 5 it on graphics settings it shows 768mb available vram.but I am quite sure that r7 is playing its role therefore the only issue is why 2gb dedicated vram is not accessible .

Yup Configure Switchable graphics click is available on right clicking on the desktop.I already have set Maximum performance mod in Power settings both on battery and charging and also selected GTA 5 application to high performance.
After installing AMD system monitor I have noticed dead zero readings of R7 M260, all the load is on APU graphics 8610g !! strange......Also FPS are decreased drastically. Previosly clock and memory speed of dedicated were on the run but now it seems to loose its path.

My laptop is using APU graphics on all games rather than dedicated one.

Jus checked if it was there or also clicked it and looked for options to enable the gpu?

Don't know if i already asked, but is there an option in the bios to set the pcie card as dedicated gpu? Or in device manager, right click the M260 and see if you can set is as dedicated. Are they both even shown in device manager?

Maybe a link that will be helpfull,
