Hey y'all - been running a 5070Ti these last few weeks and today changed out 2x pcie cables + 12VHWPR adapter to a "single" Corsair 12VHWPR cable. (PSU: RM750x)
This is my first NVIDIA gpu in a long time so I don't have much experience with this type of cable yet.
First question I had - and sorry I know I'm probably the 100 millionth post about this - but does it look like I started the bend far away enough from the connector (picture here: Corsair 12VHWPR cable)? I was able to get the glass side panel back on with a couple millimeters clearance so that part is good.
Second question I had - I noticed the 4-pin part of the adapter that was included with the GPU had 4 pins. It looks like the Corsair cable I changed to has 2 pins there. I may not be using the correct terms here but I put yellow boxes around what I'm talking about here: Corsair cable vs adapter -- is this OK or did I mess up? seems to be running OK so far but being power related just wanted to double check.
and please excuse my mismatched colors etc I'm very much function over form these days with my PCs ... although I will say it was nice to tidy up 2 cables + adapter into 1 cable solution.
Thanks in advance!
