AMD A10-6800K Processor compatibility with MSI A78M-E35 (MS-7721) Motherboard

I am looking to by my girlfriend a new processor for her computer, for Christmas. she's a good rig, but the biggest issue is her processor, I was looking up decent ones, and for the budget I have, the AMD A10 is my best choice. But I don't know if the processor is completely compatible with her motherboard, I did a little googling, but I couldn't find any answers. I'm not too tech savy myself so wouldn't know that much.

Any information would help, because I don't want to buy a dud present. Thanks in advance.

Yes it is. I did a quick search and found it so. I used pcpartpicker.com. If they were not compatible then it would not allow me to choose this combination:
