Hey, I was wondering if I could use these two to kill games like 2K17, Skyrim, BF1, Saints Row 4, and GTA V in with a Resolution of 1360x768? In about medium or high settings. Will there be major bottleneck or will it run fine? Thanks.

Solution
Lol mate, yes a 1050ti would be a very good pairing.
Still consider the RX 470 though , there are some cheap ones about at similar prices to the 1050ti & its just a better card hands down if you have the PSU to run one.
I am playing Saints row 3 (Not 4) and Skyrim on a A6-3650@3.56ghz with a GTX970 at 1080p. It runs fine, the new wolfenstien game that is based on doom also runs great, so does watch dogs, Steep, and so far every game i played on it.

A GTX1080 is overkill for gaming at 1080p and less. A card like a GTX1050ti, GTX1060 or RX470 would be ok and should be close to my GTX970.

-Disable your integrated gpu. Without the igp there is less heat and more power to overclock the cpu with.
A larger cooler helps too if your running the stock cooler but many have overclocked them with the stock cooler just watch your temps.

65.72fps avg. in Metro 2033 last light redux, 1080p maxed out details, ssaa off, physx off.
Physx on. 54.79fps avg., ssaa on+physx 43.47 avg.

The hard to run watch dogs runs at 45-60fps. Skyrim stays above 50fps. Most other games run at vsync 60fps.
Doom based wolfeinstien runs at 50-60 fps.

Keep in mind my A6-3650 and your A10 are totally different cpus. The A10 is uses the smaller cores like the FX while the A6-3650 uses the older but larger cpu cores from the PhenomIIX4 and AthlonIIx4. The newer smaller cores are known to clock higher so this partly makes up for that.

A used card like a GTX670, 680, 770, 780, 970, HD-7950, 7970, R9-280, 280X,290, 380, 390 would be a huge improvement over the IGP. But you will need a power supply to match as some of these cards do use more watts.

Some of the new ones like the GTX1050ti, 1060 use little power and will even work with molex to pcie adapters. Some evga cards and others come with those adapters too. The RX470 uses a bit more power but is still less than the older cards.

@need4speeds - you've done well to get an old llano up to that speed, mine was an awful overclocker.

@xxkjb2xx - if this is a serious post then you should max out at a RX 470 for the resolution you're using , there is not a title out there that can't be maxed out on a 470 at 720p resolution.
Your CPU will be the limiting factor by a very large margin.

I overclocked it the first day with a CM 212+evo and it's stayed at that speed since. The stock 2.6ghz speed is way too slow.
It helps to have the Gigabyte micro-atx GA-A75M-UD2H that was known to be a good fsb overclocker.

The faster GTX1060 is worth considering, the GTX1050ti is not much cheaper. It's better to get the RX470 instead of the GTX1050ti but the GTX1060 is faster than the RX470. The prices between the 3 are within about $40.

The GTX 1060 price is no where near the RX 470/ GTX 1050 Ti unless you mean the 3GB variant but i wouldn't recommend a 3GB card in 2017 especially if you are messing with mods (Skyrim , etc). Besides as mentioned earlier, an RX 470 would max his resolution easy no need for higher cards. The RX 470 4GB is the sweet spot budget GPU in the market right now for sure.
