Hello everyone. I recently got into Overclocking since I was used to OCing on a GPU, and on my RAM. So I decided what the hay to try on my HP Pavilion g6 with a a6-3420m AMD Processor. Well as everyone knows OCing a Laptop is always a "No, No" since there setup is put into limitations. Well if all know Alienware you would think otherwise but in this case I decided to try.
Keeping in mind the motherboard on the HPes is locked and BIOs is too. But the latest AMD Vision Engine Control Center option on its latest update lets you OC manually by running frequency scans but its limited greatly I truly suggest not using this option at all.
I used K10Stat and FusionTweaker finding that FusionTweaker as alot more User Friendly for the use I needed.
I will post my Screenshot of a successful OCing on my laptop and it runs stable for days at a time. I will post stress tests once I fully run them in the time span I need so I can be sure its well maintained.
This OCing has remained stable with no crashing so far into the BSOD not sure why we call it "Death" in the "D" given that you can restart your system and your computer never really is crashed and fried xD.
Anyhow here is the screenshot keep in mind I am new to OCing on a CPU: (Temps stay constant between 151 F-171 F, sometimes jump to 180 F but it always drops quickly.)

Has been stable for about.. 2 months now with no crashing. I pushed for 3.2 but it crashed after less then 2 hours tried several Voltage Stock changes lowering zones but it crashed each time.
Tweaked the Voltages by dropping the 3.1 on P0 setting to 1.35V knocked down the others and my speed went up xD didnt realize overheating on it from time to time was causing the lag to appear but once I lowered the voltage.
Snap, snap, snap everything loaded faster and the tempatures didn't even go up or jump as often anymore stayed in 141 - 151 F and in playing demanding CPU speed games. Undervolting really helps but not to much you still crash xD.
