AMD A6 6400k Windows 8.1 detecting 1 CPU core?

My build consists of the following...

CPU: A6 6400k
RAM: Crucial 1333mhz 4gb DIMMs
GPU: AMD Radeon 6570 (in crossfire with integrated APU graphics

CPU-Z detects 2 cores and 2 threads but in task manager, it only says 1 core 2 logical processors (threads). Dose anybody know the cause of this issue? is it just a bug with windows or is it something to do with the CPU its self?

And just in case you get confused, I set my CPU to under clock its self to 1.7GHz when not under a lot of load just to save power. It dose reach the highest clock speed of 4.1GHz.

Trust CPU-Z. Whether or not Windows treats it as a logical or a physical processor, your A6 is an actual dual-core machine.

Quick question is that video card good? Did it improve performance when you cross-fired it ? Please let me know

Yes I would say it has. Not a lot though. I only seem to get better performance on certain games however and its only like a extra 5-10 fps.

No sorry it wont crossfire with a AMD GPU as Nvidia uses something called SLI. And I don't really know anything about this GPU. Its probably isn't a bad GPU as it is listed as a middle class GPU, or so I've read.
