If you have to ask, you're not qualified to replace the CPU on a laptop. Get a new laptop.

You need to buy a laptop with an nvidia card... Laptops under $1,500 do not feature upgradable parts beyond RAM and Storage drives.

The AMD A6 processor line is for lower-middle end consumer laptops, not running the latest games. It's designed to surf the web and watch youtube...

The AMD A10 line is hard pressed to run modern games. AMD simply doesn't market towards high end performance outside of their desktop GPU lineup. They are almost always the underdog value brand, typically half a generation behind their competition.

If you want play PC games and don't want to spend over $1500 dollars on a laptop, the best thing you could do is buy a inexpensive gaming desktop. Since you don't have experience or knowledge in the area, the best bet would be to order a pre-built from an online company.

You can get a fairly capable laptop that will run modern games at low-medium settings for about $700, for about $1,000 you can run them on high settings FHD resolution.


Buying b-grade refurbished units really helps keep price down.
