AMD A8 6410 vs i5-4210U. Which do you choose?

Title is self explanatory ! I am buying a laptop soon,and would like some gaming (nothing major) and trying to choose between those two.
No funboys here,so please if you prefer one state why exactly it is better (benchmarks are not enough).

What are the rest of the specs? The cpu power of the i5 is FAR superior to the A8, but the A8 would be a good bit better for gaming assuming neither have a dedicated video card. The Acer that rockie_ linked you would be even better.

As i stated on my question if you are going to state that something is FAR superior than something else,please explain why. I do not understand rockie_ what are you trying to say ? I have already chose between 2 laptops and acer is not one of them. Anyway the specs are the A8 is 2ghz quad core,and the i5 is 1,7 ghz dual core. You can google it to get more specs.

No... I know the specs of the 2 cpus in question. I was talking about the rest of the specs of the 2 laptops. The laptop rockie_ linked you has a discrete video card that is a lot more capable than either integrated graphics of the A8 or i5.

Comparing the A8 to the i5 directly.... the i5 is a dual core with hyperthreading which means it can handle 4 threads at a time. It turbos to 2.7ghz and is almost 70% stronger in single thread performance and is about 50% faster overall than the A8, which is a quad core that turbos up to 2.4ghz.

It's really no competition when comparing them directly in terms of processing performance.

The A8 flips the script when it comes to integrated graphics though. The A8 is far more capable at gaming than the i5. It's still not going to be great, but you could probably play most games @ low-med settings @ 720p with the A8. The i5 would not provide consistent fps by itself in most games. Of course, if that i5 laptop comes with a video card then that would be a different story.

Thank you both for you answers. I recently heard and seen a couple of articles about intel faking benchmarks,and thats why i do not trust benchmarks. Also you see pretty much one every benchmark website that intel is favoured,and please be open minded with this! Intel is a bigger company than Amd=more money,more influence. Thats why i am confused with my decision.
Anyway the laptops i am talking about are : The Lenovo G50-70 (i5 laptop) and the HP Pavilion 15-p046na (A8 laptop). They both have dedicated graphics cards,one has a Gefore ,the other has a R7.
