No I wouldn't recommend it for gaming. The A8 will only just play BF4 on low settings at 1080x720p.

it's not going to be great but it will play it. I play FarCry2 at 1280x1024 all on high on a 5800k............. later on you can add a 270x or 280 for better graphics.
