Hello everyone 😀
I purchased a Hyper 212 Evo a few days ago. It arrived today, and it's been fitted in my computer. I installed AMD OverDrive to see how my temps were doing with this new cooler, and I can't make sense of the "thermal margin". I've read lots about it, and how to figure out what temp the CPU is running at but I literally can't figure it out.
One website I read stated that, to get the temperature, you must subtract the thermal margin from the core temp.
I thought that this can't be right as it'd land me with a CPU temp of 14.3c. (71.3-57), and my BIOS says 30c when booting up.
If anyone could tell me clearly how to work out the temperature using the maximum temperature and the thermal margin (if that's the information you need to calculate it), I'd be very grateful
