AMD A8-9600 Or AMD Athlon X4-950

Hello, im on a realy tight budget and i was wondering which of the 2 CPU above is the best.
What should i choose? ( i allready have a gpu and i just need a cpu with am4 socket)

the A8 has a slightly lower clock speed but has an on-chip Radeon R7 which makes it the better choice in my opinion. Everything else, TDP etc is pretty much the same so I would definitely choose the A8.

I already have a GPU, the RX 460 2GB OC. Should i still go for the A8 or get the athlon?

it depends on what you plan on using it for. They're very closely matched and I personally would choose the on-chip R7 over the extra 400mhz that the x4 has. The x4 does benchmark slightly higher but again, whether or not that matters depends on its intended usage .

I doubt the extra 400mhz would offer any really appreciable boost for those situations. I can't find any useful benchmarks but I guess as you already have the GFX card then maybe it would be better to go for the higher clocked x4.
