"The new APU is available now from select e-tailers and system vendors."

Why AMD APU's were not available with local retailers (offline) ?? AMD APUs are hard to find in any computer hardware shops these days.

APUs are hard to find in hardware shops because the people building their own rigs don't tend to buy A8 class APUs. They're online as replacement part or family/friend builds. I see A10s in microcenter, but they push the FX series and Intel processors much more heavily.

You'll find plenty of APUs in prebuilt PCs though.

Looks great. Very nice to see how powerful APUs have come compared to the 1st Gen APUs.

Main reason why local retailers are not selling most computer parts is because everybody has moved to place like newegg.com and amazon.com. This is because you get way better deals on those sites.

Then how Intel CPUs are easily available in every PC hardware shops ??

because of this: The company boasted that an A8-7670K on its own will outperform an Intel Pentium G3258 paired with an Nvidia GT 730 GPU.

10 cores that can't even beat low end baseline cpu (Number of Cores
2) and a $60 discrete low end gpu. both that cpu and card can be bought for $7 less
and 10 cores can only manage to beat 3 cores. with 6 gpu cores that apu should stomp on any X50/X60 discrete card. with 4 cpu cores it should clobber every i3 and atleast be at the i5 threshold.
but it can only weakly squeeze out a win against a 2 core cpu and low end gpu that has a deliberately crippled AGP era Memory Bus 64-bit Memory Bandwidth 14.4GB/sec. the higher end gt730 which is $7 more has Memory Bus 128-bit
Memory Bandwidth 22.4GB/sec, but they did not list which they tested.

the next step up to a gt740 for $30 more you get Memory Bus128-bit Memory Bandwidth @ 80GB/sec which is double the performance as the gpu clock goes up 200-300 mhz and the shader clock goes up 600mhz.

apparently this APU can't beat a $7 gpu option that they can't list specs of which gt 730 gpu they tested. $30-$40 more kills this top of the line apu's reason for being.

Marketing is marketing. You expect them to tell you that they can't beat this or that? Hell no. Show what they can beat.

And remember "The Ultimate Windows 10 Experience"

Marketing is marketing.

Well that depends, your not going to find every single CPU model in a shop, like at those shops you'll probably only find the K sku Intel models and a couple locked models.
