Hi. I recently purchased a Gigabyte A520M DS3H V2 motherboard and an AMD AM4 Ryzen 5 4500 CPU.
Based on what I've read, the two are meant to be compatible.

Well i put the whole lot together along with an GeForce RTX 3050 8GB GPU and 64gb CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX DDR4 RAM and a new 750W psu. When i power it up the keyboard lights up and the cpu fan spins but after that I'm getting noting but a blue screen.

I tried removing the GPU, and then i tried re-seating the ram. is there anything else i can try?

I removed the PSU and checked it on an other board and it's working fine.

I'm stumped on this one.

I'd love any help!

I did actually think of that but i cant' find the jumper for restting the cmos. I did try removing the bios battery for 60 seconds.

****UPDATE**** i just found the cmos reset jumper switch.

Some Vengeance ram does not play nice with some Ryzen systems.
Do a hard reset.
Unplug from wall.
Press the power button a few times.
Remove the battery for about 5 minutes.
Press the power button a few more times.
Reset /clear cmos.
Replace battery and video card and boot.
Give it time. It may restart a couple times before you see anything on the monitor.
Once memory training is done you should get one beep. and boot to bios.
This can take a few minutes. Be patient.
It is not like old systems where it booted to bios in a few seconds on first boot.
Some times it takes a few minutes for the memory controller and memory modules to work out a working speed and timings. Large capacity Vengeance memory can take a few minutes.
About 3 minutes on my 3600 with 16 gigs Vengeance 3600 cas 18 ram.
After that just a few seconds.

Unolocogringo thanks for the lengthy reply. I'm in the office today so it'll be this afternoon before I get round to trying it out. I'll let you know how it goes. Cheers again for the advice.
