Clement4413, i7-975 will also be replaced by i7-980X (codenamed Gulftown). My concern is about mobile Intel processors. In desktop CPUs with the release of the aforementioned processor there will be a Westmere chip in the higher end, while in laptops the mid-range and low-end dual cores are Westmere (newest 32nm architecture) and quad cores are Nehalem (older 45nm architecture). This doesn't make much sense.Customers are supposed to pay a premium for having the new technologies first.
