Intel's solution is a separate CPU and GPU on the same die.
AMD's solution is a separate GPU and CPU on the same die.
But AMD's architecture allows software with the right support to use the CPU and GPU as one unit for certain tasks.

DATA Parallel workloads get sent to the GPU and Serial and single task workloads get sent to the CPU or a combination of both.

I think the term you are looking for is "Integrated graphics", this is used for office work for a cheap price, but don't get integrated graphics if you are going to play games (csgo, tf2, bf4, etc.)
