Question I can't install the driver for 6750 XT ?

I tried to install the new 25.8.1 driver for the 6750 XT but during the installation the monitor went black at 60% installed, and it didn't come back on. It's as if the monitor is off. I've tried everything, but to no avail.
How do I get the driver installed?
