AMD apu compatibility

hi,im currently using A8-6600K on gigabyte g1 sniper a88x mobo...so,is it possible to upgrade it to a higher apu like A10?will my mobo supports it?

Your MoBo CPU socket is FM2+.
You can install A10 series CPUs on it.

thanks for the quick reply guys...how about RAM,now im using 8gb x2 corsair vengeance...can i add up 2 more cause i've saw some reviews said his pc only detects 16gb,not 32gb using this MoBo...

The motherboard supports up to 64gb of memory (16gb x 4). Other RAM limitations would be due to the version of Windows your using.

Use 2 sticks of 8GB for a total of 16GB.
Use DDR3 2133-2400. 2133 is the sweet spot, only get 2400 if it is same or similar price. Toss your old RAM if it is slower.

APU benefits from faster RAM and 2133 is the sweet spot.
