Hello people,
I'm Shreya and I have a Laptop HP-15bw00x series. This is my system " " and I have a slight queries to be cleared.

1. I have APU of A10-9620p. How good is this in today's world. Because the chipset is 28mm. Because it haven't given performance which can satisfy.

2. The RAM in my system is 4 GB 1866 Mhz DDR4. Since the RAM is in one slot the frequency will be 933 Mhz. If I want to increase my ram capacity I need to know the maximum frequency of ram supported by my processor and motherboard. Nothing have helped me with this section of my query. I want to know the maximum supported frequency for my motherboard when it comes to upgrading RAM.

3. The RAM usage is always high ( approx 2.6-5.2 GB ) even after closing all the application running. The os installed on the system is Lubuntu Bionic ( 18.04 LTS ), but still the RAM usage is too high for an OS this light. I can't figure out what's using this much RAM. Nothing shows up in the task manager.

4. The motherboard ( MBD ) present in my system is HP 8333, an nothing online is helpful when it comes to this model of motherboard.

Note: I don't do heavy tasks. Little bit of coding, mostly online, and browsing.

Solution
This is a very light duty laptop with very limited capability. It only has one memory slot, so replacing the 4gb with 8gb will help the memory usage issue as these days everything just eats memory. Since you are running Lubuntu it won't be using as much memory as Windows and will provide better performance, but it still needs more memory.

While the cpu is a quad core, unfortunately even my 10 year HP laptop runs the same speed as this, hence it will not have a lot of performance. The memory upgrade will pretty much max out the potential of the hardware, and if it is still too slow, you unfortunately will need to upgrade.
