Literally, max temp for this CPU is nowhere to be found. Anyone knows maybe?

Also, lets say my max temp is 75c, as long as I keep my CPU under that temp while gaming, I'm safe?

Thanks!

Many of the newer AMD CPUs are 62c, that said there is no data anywhere I can find either about what the highest for the Athlon. One place I did see "reccomended" 72c as the top.

As for running it at almost max temp, it will start to throttle down as it gets closer to max temp. If you use it a lot it will prematurely "wear out" the processor making it harder to hold a stable overclock at the original place you were able to overclock to. So the short answer is, sure go for it, but plan on replacing the processor in a couple years, and its gonna get worse and worse as time goes on.

How do i determinate the max oparating temps for the amd apu, Damric just posted some pictures and then he says Now you know how to properly monitor your temperatures on your new AMD CPU/APU.

without explaining how to do anything how to find out the thermal margin of your apu/cpu

As per the end of the first paragraph of damric's sticky that was linked click the link for Download AMD Overdrive, download that. the temperatures you see in there is the thermal margin, ie the difference between its current temperature and its max temp. So for example the max temp is 72 deg C, and thermal margin shows as 35 deg C your current temp is 72-35 which is 37 deg C. As the number gets smaller, temp is higher.

Any additional questions please start a new thread, we prefer not to dig up old ones, to make sure you have the best chance of getting an answer.
