The Celeron D 325 is the much faster CPU and would be better for gaming.

AthlonXP 1600 = 1400mhz

Celeron D 325 = 2530mhz

Just be aware that both CPUs are extremely old (at least 12 years old) and will perform poorly in modern games. Especially since they only have a single core. You will also need to find a graphics card with an AGP interface. You will get better game performance with a $350 laptop.
