honestly i doubt well see retail boards of a b550 chipset until December or January also theres been no offical statement yet as far as im aware there have been a few rumours and some are more related to system manufacturers like hp getting a refreshed and relabeled b450 e.g like a b550a

too soon to know it all... but we do know some things.
Some PCIe gen 3 to peripherals from the chipset, PCIe gen 4 from CPU to designated GPU slot and M.2 socket for NVME. A few other goodies like greater number of PCIe lanes available compared to B450.
But how board partners will respond with other motherboard components...like robustness of VRM designs and how they split up the PCIe lanes amongst high-speed LAN, WiFi, PCIe slots, SATA ports, etc...is still to be seen.
