Help me build a Gaming/Streaming Pc worth $650-750.00

So basically i want to surprise my friend for his birthday this coming July

so he said he wants some upgrade for his PC which he bought a 3 years ago

so hes looking on RYZEN right now which is really on budget so

Im assuming you will give RYZEN builds as well

a gtx 950 is good enough for 720p high or 1080p medium low @ 60fps. if ur friend plays games like overwatch, cs go, dota with a 1080p 60hz monitor, that 950 is enough. in which case, i would advice u to upgrade that cpu to a 1600 and get a 250gb SSD like the hyper X fury

dunno what u mean by editing process. i think u r asking abt video editing. its primarily dependent on cpu and the 1600 with 6 core/12 threads will give u better results for sure than a 7600k/7700k

all the cpu can give u the same result in the same resolution. like i said, the ryzen 1600 would be faster.

I tried to cheap out the CASE and MOBO so i can get 1600 + 580 will it play & stream games smoothly?

cheap out on the case if u want, but go for a b350 mobo. dont get a non overclockable b320 mobo.
the cpu is important for streaming. not the gpu. the fps will remain the same with the GTX950 regardless of streaming.
the seasonic S12 is cheaper than M12.
and i also suggested a 2800 rams since they can be overclocked to 2933 easily compared to 2400. ryzen benefits with faster rams. ryzen has 2133/2666/2933 ram speeds. so even a 2400 will run at 2133.

an rx570 perhaps? if its for CS GO, a 1050ti would also do. heck, a 1050 would be enough

if its only CS GO, 2gb is enough. if its for general gaming, be safe with a 1050ti 4gb or an rx570 4gb
