AMD Can't Create Custom Displays HELP!

Solution
Hi,
First of all: Run and install Windows update:
Start > Settings > Update & Security => run Windows update
If any updates are installed > Restart the computer.
Then Repeat this procedure.
Restart

After that download and install the latest AMD Crimson graphics driver, save this on the desktop > Right clic on the setup file > 'Run as Administrator' > complete > Restart the computer.
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

And do a reset from wthin AMD Crimson s/w it will most certainly do the trick (but only after fulfilling the above).
How is it working now?
Best regards from Sweden

Solution

Hi my friend.
What is the problem really with AMD graphics drivers?
I think, well I personally think that AMD has indeed got everything together and since at least a year and a half, AMD has always released new graphics driver to solve user reported issues.
And AMD tact times for releasing new graphic driver has dramatically been increased.

So please explain your problem with this?
And also graphics card and not at least: what game are you playing?

I'm sorry for my poor english grammar.
Sincerely, from Sweden

I have latest possible Radeon Crimson 16.2.1 driver for HD5850 card. I cant make custom resolution,i cant make custom refresh rate! On my previous Nvidia card, all that was soo easy to do...Im kinda mad at AMD.

Hi,

What do You mean with "custom resolution"?
Your graphics card AMD Radeon HD5850 supports the following screen resolutions:
Max Resolution Analog: 2048 x 1536
Max Resolution Digital (DVI port): 2560 x 1600

Always make sure that You don't run the graphics higher that the screen itself can handle.

However, it does not support DirectX12 in Windows 10
Screen resolution change:
Right click on an empty space on the desktop and choose screen setting or equivalent and retsart.

If this not solve the problem, the Graphics driver of Yours is most probably the cause:
Download and install the latest graphics driver: http://www.amd.com/en-us/products/graphics/desktop/5000/5850#
Restart the PC.
