I have an AMD-FX 8370 and stock cooler just is way too loud it makes me insane.
Is there any cooler that has those 2 metal clip things like stock cooler that I can just attach to my AM3 cpu socket thing. I have like a small blue little frame around my CPU and that's where I attached the Stock cooler simply with those 2 clips. Online I see all these people installing GIANT coolers (like that evo cooler) by taking out their motherboard and stuff. Guys... I cant do that. I just want a simple thing that can get me under 60°C when High end gaming. Something I can install JUST like the stock cooler. but its better!
I have enough money.
Thanks!

than fan on both the 300 & the s40 is virtually the same - the s40 is better simply because the heatsink is slightly taller & slightly thicker - more surface area = more thermal dissipation.
Youre talking 1400rpm or so on the s40 fan will perform the same as 1600rpm on the 300 temp wise.
50c under full load with prime etc ??no ,probably around there under a normal gaming load - the difference here is your swapping that cranky 92mm xilence fan which runs at 1000-2800rpm with a decent 120mm fan that runs between 900-1600rpm.
The xilence fan will make more loise at its lowest speed than the deepcool one does running flat out.

never had these fans on an 8 core, had the 300 on a fx6300 clocked at 4.4ghz (never seen above 55c)
Have the s40 on an i5 3470 - once again mid 50s under a prime load with very close to silence.

Good budget coolers both of them - pretty much your only options anyway, but they are good options at least.

Ive looked in depth mate,it will fit 😀
Ive had an evo 212 fitted on one of those 78lmt boards & theyre a lot bigger.
Trust me [:madmatt30:1]

So the s40 is bigger after all?
then Id to with the 300, also because it arrives much earlier. 300 has amazon prime, s40 doesnt and is 35€ more.
at full speed of the fans, is it really loud?

Wow, a lot has made available once some info was asked for. Phew! Now OP, grab a ruler/scale and measure the width of your case. You're going to have to settle with a Be Quiet! Dark Rock TF IMHO if you want to cool your VRM area as well but it also looks like you should move to a more concurrent chassis for better airflow, better cooler compatibility and ofc better expand-ability with storage and peripherals.

Be Quiet!'s compatibility chart shows you can work with it. Unfortunately due to your CPU's TDP and the platform you're going to need to remove the board for the backplate. Your other option is to go for the Wraith cooler which apparently goes for about 20USD on Ebay.

They are being sold second hand by users who ditched them for other solutions. In all honesty when you overclock the latter 8000/9000 series processors from AMD, you're better off with a custom loop rather than high end watercooling since the heat would be thrown outside the case than inside and act as a heat trap.

I was surprised myself and wanted one but since I have a height restriction with the InWin BP659 thus the Shadow Rock LP.

Perhaps other top down coolers could be suggested but the TDP would be the grey area here. The existing case can't handle an AIO...which would yet be a pricey affair. The board would also suffer from thermal issue as you've pointed out. The 125W TDP does ask a lot from the board's CPU power delivery.

I love you. I just installed the Gammax 300 (with small issues, had CPU pins bent, got them straight again though)
and now my PC runs better than EVER!

Temperatures with Gammax 300
Idle: 25°C
Gaming with Max settings: 45-50°C
its so god damn quiet aswell!

Uhm also.. does it matter in which direction the Fan is facing? I have it set up now the other way around than on your picture. the Fan of the CPU cooler blows towards the fan that blows the warm air out of the PC.
so it faces the left.

I think you may have made a novice mistake mate in that Im assuming youve put the fan nerest the back of the case assuming it pulls air away from the metal heatsink??

It doesnt though, the general design of 99.99% of air coolers is to draw air into the heatsink ,force it through the fins & out the rear side.

the reason being any fan is far far better at pushing air then it is pulling it.
Stand behind a standard desk or room fan at full pelt & youll feel a gentle breeze at best ,stand in front of it& youll get blasted with air.

Id swap the fan next to the ram mate, you wont see much of a temp drop but its going to be better for the life of both cpu fan & exhaust fan because at the minute theyre in close proximity & pulling in different directions.
Youll have a dead spot around the vrm heatsink aswell for sure whch you dont want.

You dont nede o remove the heatsink ,just unclip the fan clips & move it to the other side (the sink is symetrical & still has grooves for the clip on the other side so its a 20 second job at most.

Thank you very much!
I'll see if it works, if it doesnt (because of space) I think my CPU will survive... My temperatures are really good!

Thanks dude I cant believe how insanely thankful Iam for both your Suggestion and your Additional Help

After changing the position of the Fan to the other side I got even better temperatures!
With my Old fan I played Overwatch with Max settings at 80 fps and 65°C CPU.
With the Gammax 300 I play with 150 fps and 39°C (before changing fan position I had 45°C so that definetely improved aswell) and my PC is INSANELY quiet I barely notice its even turned on!
I can now use the Full potential of my new graphics card. before it was a not fully functional christmas present.
You're the best :)

also thank you to everyone else who helped me.
