AMD Crossfire and Dual Graphics confusion

Firstly, I'd like to ask if the website cpu-world.com can be trusted as an information source - it's pointed me to believe that I can install a Radeon HD 6570 card in my PCI-e 2.0 slot without losing the power of my integrated Radeon HD 7560D in my AMD A8-5500 (this page has a few compatibility charts, but I cannot find anything backing it up except the fact that the AMD website says the 6570 supports Crossfire and the comments section of the page, assuming the site is legit).

Secondly, I'm confused about whether Crossfire and Dual Graphics are just synonyms for the same thing, or if not then whether there's cross-compatibility or not, etc. - the cpu-world.com page is calling it Dual Graphics, the site with my motherboard specs says it supports Dual Graphics, but I can only find the HD 6570 claiming to have Crossfire support, although the AMD page mentions "CrossFireX in dual mode" a few times. From what I can gather Crossfire is Dual Graphics but more advanced, so will my APU be able to work together with the HD6570? I'd really rather not have the integrated graphics go unused when gaming since I already get a decent framerate on medium quality.

That makes a lot more sense now, thank you.

Sadly, AMD doesn't say much about it anywhere. According to the CPU world link though, the 6570 or the 7570 would work. I have a APU that I've dual-graphic'd before. It runs ok. In reality, I would try to just get a good GPU and forget the dual graphics. I only did it because I had a 6670 or 6570 or whatever it is in there that happen to work with it, but now I use that machine for Kodi instead.

I'd get a better GPU too but I'm worried about getting something that uses PCI-e 3.0 on a PCI-e 2.0 slot, and dual graphics seems like a way to boost the performance without getting anything that costs too much. If cpu-world hasn't garnered any reputation for misinformation I'd be inclined to follow what it says. Paying to make part of my computer unused isn't something I really want to do, if it can be avoided.

Edit: Not sure where I got the idea that the 7570 was PCI-e 3.0, thank you for pointing out that part of the page again.

No issues with pci 3 on a 2.0 slot. Nothing can take advatange really of 3.0 yet. If you can find a 7570 or 6570 cheap, then it will give you a bit of a boost. Get a used one, just saw one on ebay for $40

Good to know, even though the 7570 isn't even 3.0. $40 sounds like a very decent price for it too. Thanks again for the help.
