I'm getting the AMD Phenom X6 1090T (will be overclocked in the future) and I was wondering about the DDR3 1333 and the 1600. Some say that there is a noticeable difference in boot time and such, but nothing in gaming (which isn't really my focus). If the boot time and program start-up thing is true, I would very much like that depending on how fast (3 sec vs. 0.1 sec?).
What are your suggestions?

P.S. Yes, I know I can get the Sandy Bridge 2500k .. yada yada yada. I've decided to put some faith into AMD and the AM3+ socket. Plus, low budget builds. :D

I agree. I run my X3 PH II with ram at 1600 speed. It may be a slight difference in benchmarks, but nothing substantial.
For system responsiveness, there's nothing like an SSD to boost your computer in a tangible way. That's def noticeable.

There is no difference that u will ever notice : )

Get 1600, its cheap and if u will decide to OC, than its a better choice.
