AMD Driver Blackscreen Error

Specs: I5-2450M HP Pavillion Dv6 laptop
6GB RAM
HD7470M
iGPU: Intel HD Graphics 3000


When downloading the AMD drivers the screen goes black permanently unless I shut off the laptop and restart. No idea whats causing the issue, need help asap.

No Windows 10 version so installed the Windows 7 one as it was the original OS this laptop came with. At the end of the installation it says. "Failures occurred during installation."
