AMD driver updating problems

I have an MSI Radeon RX 480 Gaming X 4 GB videocard and when i update my driver (any newer than 18.3.4) my pc starts to lag. For 1 or 2 seconds it works fine but then for 1 second it freezes and then work properly again and this repeats forever. I tried reinstelling my pc but that doesn't worked. I would be glad if someone helps me!

I would download DDU and amd's latest drivers.Run ddu and select to reboot in safe mode. Remove all existing display drivers and reboot. Attempt to install the new drivers then.

Like already said, download DDU. Also, if you had a card from Nvidia, chances are that you still have remains of the drivers, that could be conflicting with your AMD drivers.

Well it didn't worked. It still does it.
