AMD Dual graphics question

I haven't done a lot of upgrading before, but i'm thinking about adding a radeon HD 6450 to my amd a10 6700 apu to add some extra performance. My question is simply, would this work, and would it make an actual difference.

Hd 6450 is not compatable for dual graphic usage with and APU, as i know. So you cant see any extra performance.
