AMD for graphics, nVIDIA for physix?

Won't work if you have the newest drivers. Nvidia has it set up now that it won't even allow physX to appear in the menu if there is another card that isn't Nvidia installed.
 


They did, was all the rage in the news last few days 😛
 
Ya know, its supposed to be open, and non proprietary, this kind of action flies in the face of that.
I can understand there maybe problems, as oc said, achieving a workable solution, but owners of ATI products I think would rather find those workarounds, and put up with those problems than have nVidia cut of support for this supposedly "open" ability
 
I totally agree..But no problem, I keep the older versions of forceware, so I'm gonna use them, and try to have the best in the two worlds, Physix and DX 10.1 ! Thanks guys.
When I started this thread I wasn't sure this is even possible, and I was surprised everyone is talking about it and how nvidia disabled it in the new drivers..Idiots indeed. They could've increased their market share and upped the demand for their slower GPUs..
