AMD FX-4350 good?

So I hoped into http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Desktop-CPUs-best-Gaming-Performance-4310750 and I saw that AMD FX-4350 is pretty high in ranking, considering that below that rank are many i3, i5 and i7 CPUs. Is FX-4350 really that powerful?

It's not faster than all those chips. Its frequency is slightly higher which gives it a bit more performance than the other FX chips, and it's probably a better overclocker than the FX-63xx and FX-83xx due to having only four cores. Definitely not better than all those other Intel chips though... So don't believe that ranking.

FX-6300 or i5 4460? I've heard a lot about these 2 CPUs and that i5 4460 is still considered a high-end CPU.

My budget is around 400euros and I'm willing to replace motherboard, RAM and my CPU of course.
My GPU is an XFX R9 270 Double Dissipation 2GB and my PSU is 500w (don't know what brand it is cause it was with my computer case).

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 @Stock speed (2.66GHz) + stock cooler
Motherboard: GIGABYTE P31-ES3G
RAM: 4GB DDR2 @800MHz
GPU: XFX R9 270 Double Dissipation 2GB
PSU: 500w (unknown brand, came with PC case)

You will have to buy a new board and memory. With that budget you should be able to get an i5, a semi decent board and 8gb of ram.

As far as PSU its hard to say. If they put a decent psu that can truly output 500w then you are fine. Does it by chance have an 80+ label on it???
The new upgrades will use less power then your current items though.

Ok that makes it quite easy... What about this? It's slightly over your budget, but you can probably find the components cheaper than the website I used, which was alternate.nl. It's a known expensive website xD
